The CCH Score

The CCH Score is just a fun way to rate a car. Although there are important aspects to find how a car ranks in the scale, most of the them came from my heart, and for that reason, this is a highly subjective exercise. This is not, by any means, a scientific attempt. Classic cars are about soul and passion, and how do we feel when we look and drive them. So, no science here.

The ratings came, of course, 80% straight from my heart and you can criticize at will if you wish, or try to understand them the right way: everyone has a similar scale inside us, the scale that will decide if we fall in love with a car, or not. The scale is from 0 to 100, with five items, each one of them adding a most of 20 points to the result.

  1. Makes me feel… – How does a car make you feel? Will it throw rocks at you? Or maybe, it gives you a sexy eye blink?
  2. Is it exclusive? – Too many similar cars around can be disturbing for some people, and reduce the appeal and value of the car.
  3. Is it beautiful?… – Is it pretty to your eyes? Will it shine in a middle of a parking lot? Do you wanna sleep with it?
  4. Living with it is… – Yes, if you buy one, you will have to live with it. How will it be? An easy ride or a ride to hell?
  5. My Wife’s opinion… – Because it is with her that I dream to drive in a sunny afternoon in some B road. So, it is important that she likes the car, otherwise…
